Let’s first have a brief look at Vitamin C!
Vitamin C, otherwise known as Ascorbic acid is one of the important components of the food we eat. Of course by food we mean edibles including fruits and vegetables.
Vitamins can be obtained from a wide range of food sources, many of which include broccoli, cantaloupe, cauliflower, kale, kiwi, orange juice, papaya, red, green or yellow pepper, sweet potato, strawberries, and tomatoes.
Can there be an excess of vitamin C intake?? Though vitamins remain very important, consumption beyond the limits (somewhere around 2000mg per day) can cause kidney stones, nausea, and even diarrhea.
